Eden Prairie Library (just south of Eden Prairie Mall)

REQUIRES PRE-REGISTRATION – SPACE IS LIMITED

REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR OR ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT!

Players of all ages welcome, but must be beyond beginner level

and know checkmate, stalemate, etc.

You do not need to be an Eden Prairie resident to participate.

Round Robin Tournament Format

Advanced Players

4 players per section, 3 rounds, time control G45 sd

Rounds: 11:00 am, 12:30, 2:00

Novice/Intermediate Players

6 players per section, 5 rounds, time control G20 sd*

Rounds: 11:00 am, 11:45, 1:00, 1:45, 2:30

Tournament is free and “just for fun” – no medals or trophies awarded.

Players should bring:

Tournament style chess set (roll-up board and plastic pieces)

Chess clock (if you have one)

If you do not have these items you can still participate; they are NOT a requirement
