Two Thursday nights each month from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Each night includes a warm-up period for blitz, bughouse, etc., followed by three games of G15 chess in quad format!

Thirty kids participated in the most recent round robin tournament in Plymouth. Andrew Tang took the top spot in the #1 group. Results/ top finishers are listed on page 2:
Michael and Kevin took center stage at some big national events recently. Kevin Bu tied for first at the U.S. Junior Open, while Michael finished 4th in the Cadet championship. Congratulations to both!!
The Stay Sharp Summer Chess Tournament is now complete! Atharva L won the Gold section overall, while Lance won the Silver overall.In the second half competition, Atharva won the Gold while William won the Silver. Austin L won the first half Silver section and Atharva won the Gold there as well. Congratulations to all who competed.
Club members Andrew Tang and Brett Kleist are the 2009 State Primary and Elementary chess champions! Andrew and Brett won their respective sections of the SCA "Tournament of Champions" this weekend in Burnsville. Results can be found at www.schoolchess.org.
